Shared Devices*

 *Shared staff devices can be borrowed from the library and only have access to School Apps.

**Long-term ES Loan devices can be organized by ICT Support on an as-needed basis.



Student iPad information

Student iPads have a base level of restrictions applied;

  • Students cannot logon to an AppleID on the iPad
  • Student iPads have no access to the public Apple AppStore
  • Students can download School Apps via Self Service (Apple iPad - Downloading School Apps)
  • If you have a new student that requires an iPad, open a ticket on TechAssist 
  • Student are responsible for completing their own backups
    • They can use Google Drive for backing up photos for example

If a student leaves, ensure that you return the iPad back to ICT Support so it can be tracked and reallocated


Staff iPads information

Staff provided iPads are to be used for school purposes only.

  • Any School Licenced App can be downloaded via the Self Service app (Apple iPad - Downloading School Apps)
  • You can log into your own personal AppleID on the iPad to download Apps from the public Apple AppStore
  • Staff are responsible for completing their own backups
    • You can use Google Drive for backing up photos for example
